Starting with the proven ION platform, the ZED 9 (345 g per single binding) had every part scrutinized to achieve the lightest weight possible. The toe piece is engineered for optimal elasticity, delivering maximum energy absorption and minimizing pre-release, which is especially critical for skiers using lower release values.

Downhill power and precision are maintained: the wide Freeride mount and the metal wrap-around base of the heel turret ensure excellent power transfer to the ski and superior pull-out resistance. The heel provides an 8.5 mm range of forward pressure to maintain a consistent release. Integrated Anti-snowpacking features in the toe and brake (optional) designs ensure a confidence-inspiring step-in under any conditions.
